2016 Mazda CX-9
The Mazda CX-9’s 2016 model is probably one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2016. The previous model of this car was launched in 2013 and the latest specs released by Mazda for the 2016 CX-9 show that it will have some tremendous improvement over its predecessor giving the old model a complete facelift. There have been no official photographs of this car yet as the first look of the car will be unveiled in November, 2015 at the LA Motor Show.
2016 Mazda CX-9 Interior and Exterior Design
The CX-9 release news comes close on the heels of the revamped models of Mazda Cx-5 and the new CX-3. It can be safe to say that with the CX-9 too, the company is going to strive for a more fluid design while combining the sporty look with a few curvy features to make it a car which is a treat for the eyes.
The interior design of this model has also been altered to make it a seven seater car with a foldable middle row seat and a large cargo hold. The interior upholstery is definitely going to be pretty upscale considering Mazda’s brand value. The car will also come with automated cooling and heating feature, satellite radio and a 5.8 inch touchscreen display screen.
Some other features which make this car an attractive buy are keyless entry and exit, auto dimming rear view mirror, soft lighting and power windows and doors.
Moreover, the model also incorporates all required safety features such as air bags, roll over detection, balancing and ActiSense powering.
2016 Mazda CX-9 Engine
The CX-9 features a completely new style of engine which is turbo charged with the SkyActiv technologies for chassis and transmission. It is a four cylinder engine with 2.5 litre capacity and a horse power of 167. Moreover, this style of engine comprises of two segments so that the driver gets the option of a front wheel drive or Active Torque Split all wheel drive (AWD) which gives more power to the front tires.
2016 Mazda CX-9 Price and release date
This amazing car will be priced at a base rate of USD 32,000 and will be a direct competition for some big brand models like the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot. Mazda has not announced an official release date but it is expected to go one sale within a couple of months after its unveiling at the LA motor show in November, 2015.
