2016 Nissan Murano
2016 is all set to be a year of luxury crossovers which combine the roominess of an SUV with the comfort of a sedan. Nissan has been the newest entrant in the section with the remodelled Murano, the mid-sized crossover with the stylish looks which is sure to be a major profit maker for Nissan.
2016 Nissan Murano Exterior and interior design
The exterior of the Nissan Murano has been designed to ensure maximum possible aerodynamics. With the main body being made of aluminium, the car is also comparatively light weight and therefore a better performer on the road. The roofline has a classic suspended shape while the boomerang shaped tail lights add a funky stylish look to the car. Buyers will also have the option of choosing the model with LED head and tail lights.
The interior cabin design is definitely a stunner with the use of light shades for upholstery and matte silver and chrome finishing on the dashboard giving the entire cabin the look of a much more high end vehicle. While detailed information on the dashboard features has not been released by Nissan, it is sure to have state of the art infotainment system with a 7 inch navigation panel and an optional 8 inch viewing screen.
2016 Nissan Murano Engine
Nissan has been known to experiment with different engine types for its cars. The Murano is no exception and will come with an option of at least three different engines. The most basic engine will be a 4 cylinder one with either 2.0 litre capacity or 2.4 litre capacity with CVT automatic transmission. The second engine choice would most definitely be that of a classic V6 engine with 3.0 litre capacity. Apart from these two, a third electric engine may also be launched.
2016 Nissan Murano Price and release date
The Nissan Murano is expected to be released by the end of 2015 so that the sales could really pick up in the first quarter of 2016. Though there is no official price release, it should cost about USD 35,000 for the basic model.
