Chevy Equinox is going to feature a 2.4-liter Ecotec 4-cylinder standard engine for the Equinox trim levels. The powertrain will deliver about 182 horsepower and will come with both options for the front wheel and all wheel drive. There can also be a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine as well for certain models. A 3.6-liter V6 engine that is capable of 301 horsepower is optional on the LTZ and LT models. While it is relatively soon to tell, a hybrid model can be in the pipeline as well.
