2017 Lincoln Navigator
The Lincoln Navigator was a luxury class SUV which was launched for the first time in 2007. Though it was the most popular car at the time of its release, its demand declined over the years due to entry of newer technologically advanced cars. However, this SUV is all set to make a come back in 2017 with an all new design and a number of upgraded features which is sure to put it back on the top spot.
2017 Lincoln Navigator Interior and exterior design
The exterior design of the car remains the same in structure as its base model but has been given a more modern and aerodynamic look which not only adds a stylish touch to it but also improves the fuel economy. Moreover, the car chassis has been designed on an aluminium platform so as to make the vehicle lighter in weight. The highlights of the changes in the exterior design, however, lie in the new grill and tail lights complemented by 20 inch alloy wheels with an option of an even bigger size.
The cabin design has been tweaked to make it more roomy and provide enough leg space and head space. Moreover, a touch of elegance has also been ensured through the premium quality workmanship on the seats as well as the dashboard. With respect to technical features inside the cabin, the MyLincoln Touch and Navigation system provides for almost all the luxury needs as far as infotainment is concerned. Since there is still some time for the release of this model, the company is expected to include some more features in its interior design before the final launch.
2017 Lincoln Navigator Engine
While the previous model of the Navigator has been equipped with a V8 engine, this new model goes for a smaller V6 engine with 3.5 litre capacity and a horse power of 380. Though the engine is smaller, it is still an advancement over the previous one because of its improved fuel efficiency. The transmission system is automatic with 6 shift system for sending power to the front wheels.
2017 Lincoln Navigator Price and release date
There has been no official statement from Lincoln regarding either the price or the release date. However, considering the price of the earlier model, it would be safe to assume that this car would cost somewhere in the vicinity of USD65,000 to USD 75,000. One can expect to see this car launched in fall of 2016.
