2017 Nissan Armada may be launched in a Hybrid Mode
The Nissan Armada is a full-size SUV that shares it chassis with Nissan Titan Pickup Truck. The car sits on F-Alpha Platform and was first launched in 2003. The new 2017 Nissan Armada model may focus on hybrid technology as per speculations.
Interiors and Exteriors
This new car will be made from light aluminum fiber and lightweight carbon. It will be offered with redesigned front and rear bumpers, new fog lights and LED headlights. This car will sit on 20-22-inch wheels.
The new Armada can accommodate 8 passengers including the driver, and has gone management chairs for the elderly. It also provides around 4083 kg of towing capacity.
The existing models are equipped with a 32 valve double overhead camshaft V8 engine producing 317 horsepower and 522 Nm torque at 3,400 rpm. The 2017 Nissan Armada model may receive a 5.6 liter V6 engine capable of generating 220 horsepower and 454 Nm torque. The new engine can reach an acceleration of 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds.
The current model features a rear wheel drive 5-speed automatic transmission. The new model may feature a 7-speed transmission system with both manual and automatic choices available. The 4 wheel drive and rear wheel drive will also be available.
The only news about the fuel economy of 2017 Nissan Armada vehicle will be around 25 miles per gallon in city and 36 miles per gallon on the highway.
The vehicle will be offered in SV, SL, Platinum and Platinum Reserve Package Trim levels. They come in their respective equipment kits. The car will also feature the new Nissan Pathfinder DVD Entertainment System with the dual 7-inch display placed behind front seats. This system offers up to 9 GB of storage space which can be used to keep and maintain a personal music library. It also allows control and configuration of 12 speakers Bose Audio System.
Additional features on this car include Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity and USB facilities. A front and rear camera have been added along with a new innovation called the Stereo Information Program. This system gathers data for routing and other purposes by radio trend alerts. This 2017 Nissan Armada cars to operate without GPS systems installed and can link with any smartphone. Apart from this, a new navigation system with a bigger 40 GB hard disk drive has been added to systems such as NavWeather and Zagat Survey present.
The Zagat Survey system guides passengers to nearby restaurants, hotels, nightlife, shopping zoos, music, movies, theaters, golf courses and airlines with ratings on a 5 point scale. In addition to scores, it also includes descriptive articles about the places and their services from several reviewers.
The NavWeather systems, on the other hand, provide real-time traffic information and real-time weather with an advanced 3-day forecast. Nissan has also expressed plans to focus on advanced driver assist systems and safety systems for better driving performance.
Price and Availability
The 2017 Nissan Armada will be launched in February 2017, with a base price tag of $40,000.
